Margie Pensak

Margie Pensak’s passion for writing took off at the age of 8, when she (hand) wrote and marketed a neighborhood newsletter. Little did she realize, while pursuing her master’s degree in health policy, planning and administration, that b’ Chasdei Hashem, she could turn her first love of writing into a full-time career.

When Margie’s fingers are not flying across the computer keyboard, they can be seen playing original renditions on the keyboard of her piano, gripping a racquetball racket, or placing Scrabble tiles on a Super Scrabble board. Margie is also passionate about spending time with family and friends, and visiting nursing home residents. Having grown up close to Long Island Sound, in New Haven, Connecticut, Margie treasures basking in the beauty of a glorious beach — especially ones with palm trees!

Margie is grateful for the opportunity to write for Mishpacha and very much enjoys the eclectic, personal interviews she has conducted spanning the international Torah world, with the hope that her words can inspire, educate, entertain, and touch her readership.
