Shavuos equals flowers, and that’s perfect for this time of year! To bring the freshness of spring into your home, fill your table with beautiful floral arrangements and blooms. And why stop at one type? Bring in an assortment of blossoms to add drama. More is definitely more when it comes to flowers for Shavuos, so in this case, the more colorful, the better! The bold colors and over-the-top florals on this table simply shout spring. These floral arrangements made of peonies, hydrangeas, and yellow pincushions, add splendor to this Shavuos table, ushering spring right in. The flowers are enhanced with verdant greens, making for lively and bright bouquets.
An Array Of Bouquets
Instead of one central arrangement, I lined the whole center of the table with smaller groupings creating a runner overflowing with flowers. The bright hues, including pinks, yellows, and emeralds, add such vibrancy to the table. The motif is echoed in this vibrant floral tablecloth and matching floral plates. This pairing keeps the look cohesive, so it’s classy and chic, despite avoiding the more typical monochrome palettes. Not only are the unusual bouquets excellent conversation starters, they set the tone for either a formal or casual
look, depending on the flowers you choose.
Flowers ‘N’ Cheese
Making flowers the key element in your tablescape adds to the elegance and excitement on the Shavuos table. Bring your dessert into this festive floral theme by transforming a basic macaron cookie into a colorful bloom. These edible flowers taste as good as they look. You can make the macarons in various colors. Pair it with cheesecake in a jar for a cheerful dessert. The cheesecake pictured is elegant and rich, and cheesecake is easily the star of the show on any dessert table or kiddush buffet.
