Happening in… Boca Raton, Florida

Rav Reisman conceded that truthfully, these men were the real source of chizuk

When Rabbi Efrem Goldberg, senior rabbi of Boca Raton Synagogue in BOCA RATON, FLORIDA, led a group of BRS members on a chizuk visit to New York, congregants were able to meet leading rabbanim, roshei yeshivah, and chassidishe rebbes, and visit the large yeshivos that are powerhouses of Torah. The purpose of the trip was to give inspiration to the hardworking men, but on a stopover to Rav Yisrael Reisman, rosh yeshivah of Torah Vodaath and rav of Agudas Yisroel of Madison, Rav Reisman conceded that truthfully, these men were the real source of chizuk. “I’ve been lucky enough to be in the yeshivah my entire life” he said. “When I see people who work all day, come home exhausted, and still pull themselves to the beis medrash to learn at night, I feel so much smaller than them.”
