When creating this Chanukah tablescape, I wanted to infuse a creative touch while still holding on to the traditional Shabbos energy. Perhaps the traditionalist in me is not ready to let go of the white tablecloth, but at the same time I love bringing in that unexpected touch. This vision was the blend of both worlds, with the olive oil jars and pottery vases adding a modern yet sentimental feel.
Special Touches
The pottery jugs shown here come from Target. I filled them with olive branches purchased at Primrose.
I bought the olive oil jars on Amazon, filled them with olive oil and inserted rosemary stems for a classy look, then attached the name labels. For more on the white theme, I placed fur throws on the chairs, also from Amazon.
Bold and Gold
For the table settings, I used these pretty white flower-hemmed cloth napkins from HomeGoods. I tied the menu cards to the napkins with green velvet ribbon (Amazon again!). The dishes featured here come from Target, and the gold candlesticks are another Amazon find. The round glass candle holders are from Crate and Barrel.
Enjoy the wintry feel for a cozy Shabbos Chanukah!
