Decorated Hamantaschen

Hamantasch fillings don’t have to be limited to jelly. You can fill your hamantaschen with delicious fillings and decorate them with all kinds of icings, cookie dips, and toppings to create fun and gourmet cookies. Check your local baking supply store or supermarket for oven-proof fillings.

You will need:

  • cookie dough (see link)
  • choice of fillings
  • melted cookie dip or chocolate
  • nut crunch, chopped macadamia, chopped pistachios, or nonpareils (assorted colors)

Dip and decorate the hamantaschen as desired, then bake.
