Watermelon Whip

Watermelon Whip

One of my favorite childhood memories is sneaking downstairs with my cousins to “raid” our Bobby’s fridge in the middle of the night for a delectable shpritz of whipped cream. There was nothing like that “sssss” sound that came out of the can as we sprayed a perfectly balanced mound of whipped cream onto our fingers. Here’s a fun-to-make idea that captures all the “yum” of whipped cream and looks adorable too. (Sorry — no “sssss” sound.)

YOU WILL NEED:

  • small shot glasses
  • green tape
  • pareve whipped topping (I added some confectioners’ sugar)
  • pink food coloring
  • mini chocolate chips
  1. Wrap the bottom of a shot glass with tape.
  2. Beat the whipped topping and add confectioners’ sugar, if desired.
  3. Arrange a thin layer of whip in the shot glass.
  4. Add food coloring to the rest of the cream and mix until incorporated.
  5. Fill remainder of the cup with pink cream. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
