Simply Savory London Broil

This is a fabulously flavored meat that can be used as a main or sliced into a salad. It will be a guaranteed winner any way you choose to serve it.

SERVES 6 AS A MAIN

  • 2 lbs (1 kg) London broil

MARINADE

  • 14 cup olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce (fish free)
  • 1 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 12 tsp black pepper
  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a gallon-sized ziplock bag. Add London broil and allow to marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to high broil. Transfer meat and marinade to a 9x13-inch (20x30-cm) baking pan.
  3. Broil for approximately 5 minutes per side. Meat should register 125°F (52°C) on a meat thermometer for medium rare.
