A sweetness no picture can describe

a sought-after photographer in the frum world, Avraham Elbaz has the regular opportunity to view greatness from up close.

But sometimes, he’s privileged not only to see greatness, but to experience it as well.

It happened this past week, when Elbaz visited the home of Rav Moshe Tuvia Lieff shlita, rav of Agudath Israel Bais Binyomin, to video Rav Lieff sharing a message in honor of Pesach. Following the shoot, Avraham gathered his equipment and began heading out the door, until he heard his name called.

“Reb Avraham!” Avraham stopped and turned around, wondering what Rav Lieff wanted.

“Reb Avraham, how many children do you have at home?”

Avraham started to answer, but comprehension dawned as Rav Lieff began packaging bags of candies.

“Ah, Rav,” he said, “I also have a few nephews from Eretz Yisrael who are with me in America as well!”

The photographer left with bags of candy for the Elbaz children and their cousins, who would taste a sweetness no picture can describe.
