Rabbi Pal is a Skverer chassid whose passion for natural, antibiotics- and hormone-free food led him to partner with several Amish farmers from the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, area to bring their food to the heimish market. He brought his Amish suppliers to the JFood show, where they hawked their brand — Meant to Be — to kosher food buyers. Finding commonality over beards, hats, and a hesitancy to utilize technological advances, the unlikely duo was an attraction at the show.
