HAPPENING IN... Clifton, NJ

After a long wait, the Yeshiva Gedola of Clifton and Mesivta Zichron Baruch finally received approval from the Clifton zoning board to build a beautiful new yeshivah building and dormitory. The zoning board’s final vote was especially gratifying as the application for the sprawling new campus generated very vocal — albeit non-substantive — opposition from neighbors. Here, Rabbi Moshe Halberstadt, rosh hamosad, is seen emerging from Clifton City Hall, triumphantly anticipating the next stage of the yeshivah’s growth.
