Ilove this idea because of the convenience of using the original packaging of the mousse cups without the added expense or runaround for a box. I removed the cardboard insert from the original package, filled the cups, and then returned them to the box.

If you don’t want the bother of filling the containers last minute, you can use these mousse cups for a less-perishable mishloach manos idea, such as dips, herring, trifles, candy, nuts, smoothies, etc.

You will need:

• 3-ounce round mousse cups with lids (available from Simcha Collection)
• chopped fruit in various colors
• leaf-like ribbon (purchased from Hobby Lobby)
• label

Fill mousse cups with fruit and arrange in the box. Tie with ribbon and affix label.
