Yitzy felt like a whole family of butterflies was doing jumping jacks inside his stomach. Why were his parents here? Why did they look so worried?

Yitzy couldn’t blame his parents. He was worried too. What would happen if they were kicked out of their wonderful apartment? Where would they go?

“Rabbi Brody called all three of the local hospitals, and they all said the same thing. No patient named Irving Greenbaum was brought in today”

Yitzy made it to the ambulance the same time as the stretcher. When he saw the stretcher he almost fainted. It was Mr. Greenbaum

Yitzy knew that look. It meant that if he didn’t listen, he would be in very big trouble for a very long time
