Most women spend the holiest of days in tearful tefillah in their local shul or at home surrounded by their children. But these five women were propelled to far-flung places — a South American jungle, a Muslim airport, a secular kibbutz, a nursing home, and a city just hit by a hurricane — and had to push themselves to draw close to Hashem and connect to their tefillos, despite their surroundings.
