Linguine with Pesto Parmesan

Pasta, pesto, and Parmesan are a combo that you can’t go wrong with. Try it; you’ll love it.

SERVES 4–6

  • 1 16-oz (450-g) pkg linguine (or pasta of your choice)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium red onion, diced
  • 13 cup prepared pesto sauce
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 14 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water according to manufacturer’s instructions. Drain and set aside. Meanwhile, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, pesto, salt, and pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions soften. Mix pasta and pesto sauce in a large bowl. Stir in the Parmesan cheese. Toss and enjoy!
