Everyone jump straight into the jeep. Soon it will be time to light the Chanukah candles so we have to hurry.

Okay Zeidy we’re jumping in. Where are we going?

Now that we’re on our way I can relax and tell you. Kinderlach do you remember what the miracle of Chanukah was?

The Jews found enough oil for one day and it stayed lit for eight days.

Right Moshe. Give that boy one of Bubby Zakon’s famous Chanukah cookies. Kids did you ever think about where they found the oil and where they lit it? Where did the miracle happen?

In the Beis HaMikdash.

So that’s where we’re going.

Um Zeidy … there is no Beis HaMikdash.

Unfortunately you’re right. But we can still go see where it once stood.

I thought we’re not allowed to walk on the Har HaBayis where the Beis HaMikdash was.

Kinderlach leave it to Zeidy to find a way. My ancestors the Kohanim found the bottle of oil and I will find a way for us to see Har HaBayis. After all what better place to visit on Chanukah than the place where the great miracle of Chanukah happened? Okay right through these doors and up the stairs.
