Zeidy in Har Nof

Sometimes it’s hard to find your house Zeidy.

All the buildings in Har Nof look so alike.

Yeah it’s a good thing people in Eretz Yisrael speak English. Everyone we met kept telling us the same thing... go there yashar yashar (straight ahead).

Well shalom shalom. I’m so happy you finally found me. Sit down and have some of Bubby’s super-duper hamantaschen and shoko (chocolate milk).

Ummm yummmm that was great.

Zeidy why is this neighborhood called Har Nof ?

Well “har” means mountain and you can see the neighborhood is built on a high mountain.

What about “nof”? What does that mean?

Nof” means view or scenery. So finish up and come with me I’ll show you the “har” and the “nof.”
