You Call That a Job?

Baruch Hashem, I have not had to work in any other field. But, yes, I do have a “profession”

I’ve been playing piano since I was eight years old, and started working as a professional accompanist at the age of 13. Because my father wanted me to have a “profession to fall back on,” in college I majored in Music Therapy, with a minor in Piano. After one year of working as a music therapist, I got a job playing piano professionally, and since then, for almost 50 years, Hashem has provided me with ongoing work as a musician, music director, arranger and composer. Baruch Hashem, I have not had to work in any other field. But, yes, I do have a “profession.”
