The Tefillah I Love to Sing

"It’s a magnificent musical composition with many different parts"

One of my favorite Jewish songs is the Bobover “Keil Adon.” It’s a magnificent musical composition with many different parts, each of whose moods accurately reflect the beautiful words of the six paragraphs of the tefillah. It goes from majesty, to slow and peaceful, to serious introspection, then to triumphant celebration, and finally ending with the splendor of the opening part. A truly befitting way to sing a part of Shabbos davening.
