The Persian Spring: Broadcasting Live from Shushan

Tonight’s host is Shesar the veteran Shushan Palace correspondent of the Persian Broadcasting Company (PBC) serving 127 nations worldwide including New York New Jersey and Connecticut. Tonight’s special program is sponsored exclusively by Mishpacha Junior in honor of its 400th weekly edition. May the next 400 roll off the presses as easily as the first 400 have. Amen.

“Good evening ladies and gentlemen and children of all ages. This is Shesar reporting from Shushan HaBirah. Night has just fallen. The palace lights have just been turned back on for the first time following King Achashveirosh’s order to lift the blackout that he imposed when the Persian Spring began to rage.

“In our studio tonight we have assembled a panel of Junior insiders. Each one has experienced the various stages of the palace upheaval. Each one is in a unique position to share their experiences and perspective of these unprecedented events. Allow me to introduce our panelists one by one.

“We will start with Vayezasa the son of Haman who rumor has it is on his way out in a palace coup …”
