The Performance I’ll Never Forget: Shlomo Cohen

“The hall was literally shaking with the energy of the communal cry”

"I would say the most exciting time on stage was at a huge Dirshu Siyum HaShas in 2012 at Yad Eliyahu in Tel Aviv. Rav Chaim Kanievsky ztz”l and Rav Aharon Leib Steinman ztzl were both present, so it was a big privilege to sing there. At the time, Rav Shmuel Wosner ztzl was very sick, and at a certain point, we stopped the orchestra, and the entire crowd cried out  ‘Rofeh cholei amo Yisrael’ for Rav Wosner. The hall was literally shaking with the energy of the communal cry.”
