Looking back over the years, I think the most emotional time for us was the concert tours we did during the “Second Intifada,” in 2003 and 2004. There were repeated suicide attacks in Yerushalayim and all over Eretz Yisrael during that time, terrible losses, and everything, every song, all our time there, seemed to be emotionally heightened in a sense. In a regular year, visits to Camp HASC and Camp Simcha always bring out the deepest of feelings.
