Spotlight: We’re Quads!
| August 15, 2012]On January 5 2000 the very first quadruplets of the millennium world-wide were born to Rabbi and Mrs. Dovid Engel of Montreal. The four babies three boys and one girl were greeted with much media attention and excitement. The Jewish General Hospital where they were born held a news conference and the births were front page news in The Montreal Gazette. A few months later the mayor of the Town of Mount Royal presented each baby with a gold-plated piggy bank with each of their names engraved at the bottom.
Mishpacha Junior recently spoke with Eli Suri Yitzi and Tuli and their parents in Toronto where they now live. When the quads sat down beside each other on a couch in the family’s living room Mrs. Engel observed that they had unintentionally seated themselves according to their birth order — Eli first Suri next Yitzi and then Tuli.
