Spotlight: We Visited All Fifty States
| August 25, 2010
MJ: How long do you stay in each state?
Sori: We usually stay overnight; although sometimes we’ll be based in one state and then take day trips to other states. Our rule is that in order to count as a state visit we have to do something there — we can’t just drive through — although we have no minimum amount of time we have to spend as long as we do something or visit somewhere.
MJ: So all of you have been to all fifty states?
Shoshana: We have six kids in my family. My parents and four of us — Sori me and an older brother and sister — have been to all the states. Sori and I both finished when we were ten years old. My younger sister who is only six and my oldest brother who was in yeshivah some of the times we went traveling hasn’t finished yet. But they’re getting there; he has been to forty-eight states and my little sister to forty-one.
