From Manchuria to Minsk, how Gedolim sent Jewish soldiers off to war
The rebirth of the Torah world from a post-war nadir to produce today’s booming Orthodoxy is one of the great miracles of Jewish history – and the work of a mere handful of great leaders. Amid many great Torah leaders, these gedolim stand out for their outsize impact. They not only created yeshivas and replanted dynasties on new soil, but built movements, which in turn created vast sections of the vibrant Torah world we have today.

Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Galinsky- an alumnus of Yeshivas Chevron of Yerushalayim and a musmach of Yeshivas Hagriz Bengis has been involved in Harbatzas Torah in Yeshivos for many years, is currently a maggid shiur at Yeshivas Ohr Dovid and its Posek, as well as the coordinator of the Rabbinic Board of Mishpacha. He has authored and edited many halachic works, in particular those relating to Hilchos Shabbos, Hilchos Shemittah and Monetary Halachic law –Choshen Mishpat , among them “Right on the Money”-Discussions In Contemporary Monetary Halachah.
