Here’s an interesting fact about crabs: When there are a bunch of crabs caught in a bucket you don’t need to worry about them escaping. Even if one manages to almost escape the rest of the group will pull him back in.The analogy is simple. For our purpose a crab is any influence that holds you back from growing and developing well. Or worse pulls you into a bucket of negativity. There are different kinds of crabs. On one hand there are internal crabs or triggers that get you down or put you in a bad mood. There are also friends who are crabs and bring out let’s say not the best in you. It is important to recognize the “crabs” in your life so you can work on yourself and eventually live a happier and more self-aware life.
