Hi Yoni. Can you tell me a bit about how you started singing?

My parents say that I started when I was a very little boy. My father loves to sing and he always sings as he walks around the house. I guess I just copied him.

When did you first start performing?

At around the age of five I performed at a few family simchahs.

Did you ever take voice lessons?

I had a few sessions with a voice coach but not what you would call formal voice training.

When was the first time you performed in front of a larger audience?

I was around 10. I sang at an NCSY concert with Yaakov Shwekey Lipa Schmeltzer and Srully Williger.
