My Musical Mentor

“I ended up sitting and talking to Reb Moshe, and he opened up a lot of possibilities for me”

“My first mentor was Reb Moshe Goldman,” says singer ISAAC HONIG. “I learned a tremendous amount about music and singing from him. We first met in the studio before I began to sing professionally, when I was doing a favor for someone who had asked me to sing on a long-forgotten CD called Avreichim. I ended up sitting and talking to Reb Moshe, and he opened up a lot of possibilities for me. I also got a lot of guidance from producer JJ Fried, who produced my second album, Adon Hakol. He gave me many hours of guidance which helped me as a professional singer — which I’ll never forget.”
