here’s a special thread of kindness that sets the Jewish music industry apart — maybe it’s because even competitors are good friends, or perhaps everyone just feels like one family. Singer Michoel Pruzansky remembers one wedding where he was performing with a keyboard player, and the musician was experiencing severe problems with his keyboard. “The chassan and kallah were coming in soon, and they just couldn’t get the power on the keyboard. The musician called a competing one-man band, explained the problem, and he came running over to the wedding hall with another keyboard.
