Prizes would be given to the boys who memorized the most. Moshe immediately rose to the challenge! In just those last few weeks of school he memorized all the mishnayos in Rosh Hashanah Chagigah Pesachim Beitzah Berachos Yuma Succah and Taanis — 400 mishnayos! He also learned the entire sugya ofTefillasHashachar by heart.
