I’ve been painting walls professionally for about 25 years. I started when someone asked me to paint her bedroom wall — she bought sheets and I painted a matching design. Over the years I’ve painted pediatricians’ offices schools kindergartens and homes. I love the creative process and the mental stretch I need to paint on walls. I even created a business with a friend once called “The Walls Can Teach.” We’d draw a design on the wall in a school and then the kids would fill it in kind of like a paint by number!
