1.Invest energy in producing energy Need a boost of energy? Do the last thing you’re in the mood for doing: exercise. Exercise invigorates. It helps convert sugars and fats into energy increases your heart rate — so more oxygen circulates in your body — and releases energizing hormones (which lift your mood too). Wellness coach Alan Freishtat suggests two minutes of exercise — climb a couple flights of stairs or power through a mini-exercise circuit: ten push-ups twenty jumping jacks and ten dips. (They’re like backward pushups. With both hands grasp the front of a chair behind you slide forward and straighten your legs and lower and raise your body.)   2. Drink l’chayim “Drink half your weight in ounces ” says nutritionistDr.C.Levine. “So if you weigh 140 pounds drink 70 ounces every day. Keeping hydrated keeps us more flexible flushes the body and relieves joint issues and stiffness. “Water is great but it’s even better if you add either the juice of a lemon a pinch of salt 1/8 teaspoon honey or one tablespoon of grape juice into your day’s drinking water. All of these have electrolytes.” Electrolytes help your body retain fluids transport nutrients and convert calories to energy among other benefits.
