What is Non-Verbal Communication?

We might spend a lot of our time talking but amazingly scientists say that a huge ninety percent of our communication is done in other ways than talking — and that means non-verbal communication. Non-verbal communication or NVC for short is any kind of communication that doesn’t involve words which means that sign language and writing are not included. There are many ways messages can be communicated without words; with gestures or touch by body language or posture by facial expressions and eye movements and by our body’s physiological reactions such as sweating or blushing. Even our clothes and hairstyle communicate a message to those around us.
