"You aren’t asking for a favor; you’re sharing a holy family project with partners"

“Women do themselves and their families a disservice when they relate to Pesach preparation as ‘their problem’ for which they ‘ask for help,’ when, in reality, preparing for Yom Tov is a zechus that applies to the entire family. Kashering a kitchen so a Yom Tov can be experienced is a tremendous mitzvah. If you saw it that way, you’d probably be less stressed, and be more open to ‘sharing the effort.’ You aren’t asking for a favor; you’re sharing a holy family project with partners.
