"I’d like to try a duet with Rivie Schwebel. He has a deep musical understanding, and I have a feeling that we would enjoy the same kinds of songs"
If you could choose anyone to sing with on stage or in the studio, who would it be?
If I could have the chance to sing with anyone, I’d like to try a duet with Rivie Schwebel. He has a deep musical understanding, and I have a feeling that we would enjoy the same kinds of songs. My other choice would be Yossi Green, because I am a huge fan of his songs. That would take careful planning and production, though, since both our voices would fit better with the low part of the song… I can get right down on those low keys with him, or alternatively, he could sing an octave higher, and the blend of our voices would be something special.

Songs That Give Me Chizuk
If I’m feeling low, a good pick-me-up is the vintage Carlebach song “Besheim Hashem.” It’s an incredible pasuk (‘Miymini Michoel, umismoli Gavriel…ve’al roshi Schechinas Keil…’), which helps us feel the presence of the angels who surround us, and Hashem Who is above. My mother used to sing it to us after Shema.
