Maurine Weiner, otherwise known as the 44th Street Bobby, resides in Boro Park where she entertains adults and children of all ages with her adventurous stories growing up in America of old. She writes them up and sends them off for publication when her neighbors, friends, and grandchildren beg her hard enough. Before she retired from matchmaking ten years ago, she was involved in shidduchim for 35 years, as in evident from the matchmaking theme that runs through many of her stories.
