When Nachman Seltzer decided to launch his choir 12 years ago he already had a name in the Jewish entertainment world as a former soloist for Miami Boys Choir. A kollel yungerman Rabbi Seltzer waited to open his choir until his rebbi RavNissanKaplan said the time was right. But once it was there was no stopping him. How did the choir get started? “I took out an ad in one of the local ad magazines ” Rabbi Seltzer relates. “Kids came from all over Yerushalayim to try out and we put together a nice group. It was a little tough in the beginning we started with 20 kids and went down to 10. It stayed at ten for a while but then eventually it started to grow.”To read the rest of this story please buy this issue of Mishpacha or sign up for a weekly subscription
