Because glasses hold significant power for enhancing your appearance it’s important to take the time to select the right pair. Glasses can highlight positive facial features while minimizing less desirable ones — and the wrong pair can accomplish the opposite.

A bold set of frames standing out on the bridge of your nose may complement you beautifully — or camouflage your expressions like a mask. A more demure frame may blend seamlessly with your face adding appeal less conspicuously. Some frames though are so subtle that people must look carefully to just notice them. The style of your glasses too offers a glimpse into your personality. For instance a trendy fun pair can hint to an adventurous spirit while a sturdy traditional frame may reflect a no-nonsense attitude.

Finding the most complementary frame for your face may not be straightforward. “Most people don’t really know what suits them” says Goldie a veteran saleswoman at Einit and patient eyewitness to confused customers deliberating endlessly between frames. “This is where the salesperson comes in. A good experienced salesperson knows how to fit a pair of glasses to the customer’s face.”
