Bentzi was very quiet when he got home the next day. He hardly said a word when Tova showed him the bracelet she made from rubber bands which was not at all like him. “When are you going to visit that sick kid?” I asked. Surely he’d be glad to talk about his club’s new mission. But Bentzi just said “We aren’t.” “Why not?” “He doesn’t want us to come. He wants just Tulli who was sick too and went through everything himself.
