Cyprus as you’ll see as we fly over is a big island. The third biggest island in the Mediterranean Cyprus is located close to Turkey Greece Syria Lebanon and Israel — it’s actually closer to Israel than to Greece. You can see what a gorgeous island it is. Cyprus has won international prizes for its beauty! Let’s take a spin over the huge pine forests and there are plenty of them as almost half the island is pine forest. Up in the Troodos Mountains we have to fly high to miss the peak of Mount Olympus the highest mountain on Cyprus. We could even stop off to ski in the mountains too — in Cyprus you can sunbathe on the beach and then go skiing on the same day!
