| September 23, 2015Both Rabbi Glassman and Rabbi Korn credit their yeshivos as the jump starters of their businesses. While Rabbi Glassman was a bochur in Mesivta Torah Vodaath the yeshivah organized the writing of a sefer Torah in honor of then-rosh yeshivah Rav Avraham Pam ztz”l. Rabbi Glassman who describes himself as a “macher of a bochur ” was asked to help out with the coordination of the actual hachnassas sefer Torah. The project was a dazzling success. At the hachnassas sefer Torah’s conclusion Rav Pam eloquently said “How could such a small heart contain so much love?” Rabbi Glassman’s coordination was a huge success. In fact shortly afterward the young but exceedingly capable Shmuel Glassman was formally hired to undertake another hachnassas sefer Torah. That was 17 years and more than 1 000 hachnassas sefer Torah events ago.
