I got a letter in the mail. Really! When I got home from school I saw an envelope peeking out of the mailbox. At first I thought it must be some bill or invitation but it had my name on it. Who could have sent me a letter? I turned the envelope over looking for the sender’s name. It was from Chemda! Yes Chemda from Silver Brook Village where we went on vacation and found a hidden treasure remember? I told you all about it in Bentzi and the Abandoned House. When we left Silver Brook Chemda and I said we would write to each other. But you know how it is… It’s easier to talk about these things than to actually do them.
