October 12 Local Arabs from Ras al-Amud hurl firecrackers into the succahs at Maaleh Hazeitim. October 13 Arabs ransack graves on Mount of Olives. Grave of the Modzhitzer Rebbe destroyed. Palestinians attack police with rocks firebombs and firecrackers. Police forced rioters into al-Aqsa Mosque where Palestinian had gathered stones and barbed wire in preparation for attacks against Jews touring the site. October 14 Egged bus stoned near the Western Wall. Jerusalem light rail repeatedly stoned. Holiday shuttle bus to the Western Wall stoned outside Ir David. October 15 Some 400 Arabs on the Temple Mount attack Jewish visitors forcing police and border police units to use stun grenades near the entrance to the al-Aqsa Mosque. October 16 Repeated clashes in Jerusalem’s Old City between security forces and local Palestinians. Three police officers wounded four Palestinian youth arrested. Jewish buses stoned near the Old City before Simchas Torah. In Ras al-Amud dozens of masked youth hurled rocks Molotov cocktails and firecrackers at Jewish homes in the Jewish neighborhood of Maaleh Hazeitim. Police officer hospitalized after being hit in the neck by a flaming Molotov cocktail. October 17 Jewish car badly stoned in the northern neighborhood of Pisgat Zeev. Molotov cocktails thrown at Jewish homes in Nof Zion. Jerusalem light rail stoned and forced out of service in the Arab neighborhood of Shuafat. October 18 Palestinians attack Jewish homes in the Jerusalem neighborhood ofArmonHanetziv with cinder blocks andMolotov cocktails.
