MJ: What made you a busy mother decide to do this job?

Mrs. S.: Someone approached my husband to ask if he would like to head the Satmar Shatnez Lab in London. He declined because he was newly committed to another job. It dawned on us that perhaps a woman could do it. We asked rabbanim and were told it was no problem in fact there was even a training course in America especially for women by women offered by the Worldwide Shatnez Association headed by shatnez expert Rabbi Yossef Sayag shlita of Lakewood.
