Disneyland Park opened in 1955 in Anaheim California and was the only theme park designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney himself. The park is divided into themed areas called “lands” like Adventureland Frontierland Fantasyland and Tomorrowland each with their own attractions. One area called Holidayland which operated between 1957 and 1961 is often referred to as the “lost” land of Disneyland. This park has been visited by over 600 million guests since it opened. More people have walked through Disneyland’s turnstiles than any other park on the face of the planet!
