It’s closed. I’ve finally arrived at the Louvre that famous museum inParis to feast my eyes on the paintings and art and it’s closed.
EXCERPT: “Sorry sir” says the man at the desk. “Ze place iz clozed for a whole week.” He lowers his voice to a whisper. “To aid ze investigation.”
“The investigation?”
“Ze Mona Lisa. Poof! And it iz gone.”
“Gone? But that’s unthinkable. The Mona Lisa …”
“Yez I know. Five hundred yearz old iz zat painting by Leonardo Da Vinci. And somevun haz ze impudence to simply snatch it from ze wall. Terrible!”
“Terrible indeed!” I say.
