Because I do face painting Purim lasts all year in our house! I love getting creative with my children and my neighbors’ children. I also find that face art is safer and more fun for kids than masks which quickly get lost over the course of the day. Try any of these faces and see how much your kids love them!

The secret to face painting is in buying the right supplies and learning the classic teardrop stroke. Once you’ve mastered the thick-to-thin motion you can execute any of the faces shown here. So go ahead and give it a try. Face paint is easily removable – if you don’t like your results you can just wash it off again.

* Face paint paintbrushes and sponges can be purchased at most craft stores. Look for brands such as Snazaroo and Wolfe. Most face paint comes in dry cakes that need to be activated with water similar to water paint.
