What’s My Biggest Challenge in the Industry?
| December 26, 2018A singer told his friend: “I had a really hectic week. I had a chasiddishe, a litvishe, an Israeli, a modern, an American and a Sephardic chasunah.”
Friend: “How many gigs can you have in one week?”
Singer: “Oh, this was actually all at the same chasunah. But there were so many different types of guests.”
As wedding singers are usually in the driver’s seat, they have to constantly adjust the song selection and the flavor of the music. And the bottom line is, that there’s always going to be someone who’s not completely happy. But the zechus of bringing people joy on the most special day of their life definitely overrides any of those challenges.
