made to measureShaindel gazed in awe at the woman seated behind the desk. The name that had revolutionized the Shidduch World finally had a face. Shaindel took in the styled sheitel tastefully applied makeup and elegant touches of gold and pearls. She hoped she would look as good in thirty years time.

“You must be Shaindel” said the lady reaching out one perfectly manicured hand to clasp Shaindel’s fluttering fingers. Shaindel shook hands awkwardly; she didn’t have much practice in the grown-up rituals. She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear cleared her throat and tried to sit up straighter.

“I take it you have your List prepared Shaindel?”

“Oh of course; I know my List off by heart” said Shaindel. “Shall I recite it now?”

“Patience everything will be done in good time. I do understand that you must be excited.”

Shaindel nodded blushing “Your book changed my life.”
