Of course nobody could put a diabolo through its paces like Jolly Solly. He had a range of them in different colors and sizes. Jolly Solly could make his diabolos soar in the air before coming back to land precisely on the rope. He could operate four diabolos at the same time. The kids would watch openmouthed as Jolly Solly performed his tricks and then go off to practice on their own diabolos although they could never quite get theirs to do the same thing. Then one day Tully noticed that his stock of diabolos hadn’t gone down at all in the past week. This was strange. He was sure they were still popular as you couldn’t walk around for more than two minutes without bumping into a kid playing with one. Tully shrugged. Maybe everyone who wanted one already had one.
