Secret Number 1: My family is making aliyah. Not that they told me of course. I don’t get told anything until it basically happened — not even when a single one of my brothers got engaged. Ha. Like I can’t figure things out for myself. Which brings me to Secret Number 2. Secret Number 2: I’m good at noticing things. There are lots of things I’m not good at. I’m not great in school. I’m not good at cleaning my room (though I’ve become very good at stuffing stuff into the closet before my mother comes to say goodnight). I wonder whether Secret Number Two is a result of Number One. As in because they don’t tell me anything I’ve had to look around for clues. Which brings me to Secret Number Three.
